We’ve sold “Cirque du Lac,” and it is no longer available for rental

If you’d visited Cirque du Lac in the late ’60s, you might have been greeted by a leopard at the door. Mearl and Audrey Johnson owned a traveling circus, and when they weren’t on tour, they kept their beloved animals with them. Usually the big cats stayed in what is now a garage, but often Audrey would keep Afro and Bwana on leashes in her home. People who grew up around the lake have fond memories of the Johnsons, ask them to tell you their story!
